Skin is the first thing that attracts the attention of others. Good skin is the ultimate sign of beauty. Everyone longs for a glowing skin. But only some of them are blessed with a good skin. Others may have skin problems such as scars, pimples etc.There are mainly 4 types of skin namely dry skin, oily skin, sensitive skin and normal skin. Each of these require a different type of treatment. Though there is a wide range of cosmetic treatments available it is better to opt the natural way. There are many ways to maintain a good skin.

Natural skin care is the care of the skin using naturally-derived ingredients. The nature has provided us many fascinating remedies and cures for skin treatment. There are many home made remedies available for skin treatment.

  1. A good solution for scars is to apply a mixture of sandalwood paste with a dash of rose water on the face leaving it overnight. In morning, wash it off with water.
  2. To protect the skin from sun damage, mash a ripe papaya and apply it all over your face. Rinse it off with cool water after fifteen to twenty minutes.
  3. To get rid of blackheads, pimples and wrinkles make a paste of fresh fenugreek leaves and apply it on your skin
  4. Milk is a good cleansing agent. Wash your face regularly.
  5. Mash a ripe banana with milk and apply the paste on the face. After twenty minutes wash it off with cold water. Repeat the process at least two to three times a week to make your skin flawless.

Also there are many ayurvedic treatments available for scar, pigmentation etc.

  1. Grind five almonds and mix with 1 teaspoon of fresh cream and a few drops of lemon juice. Apply this paste to the face and neck. Leave on for about fifteen minutes.
