COMBATING DANDRUFF

It can appear at any time, from infancy to old age.. It mainly affects men when compared to women. It affects the scalp and causes flakes of skin to appear. Normally skin cells on our scalp renew themselves. At that time the old cells are pushed outside from the scalp. But for a person affected by dandruff the renewal will be faster.  This will result in excessive shedding of dead cells from the scalp. This makes the dandruff more noticeable. It can also be caused by frequent exposure to heat. Dandruff may not cause permanent hair loss. But people with dandruff may experience irritation and redness on the scalp.

So what can we do to prevent dandruff?  Nowadays there are many antidandruff shampoos available in the market.  Try anyone of the brand. Make sure that the shampoo has enough time to stay on your scalp so that the ingredients will get enough time to work. If after several weeks of self treatment dandruff still persists, you should consider seeing your doctor. Also make sure not to use hairbrush, towels or soap used by a dandruff affected person. We must also ensure to
