I was never a morning person and I always stay in bed for as long as I can, usually getting up with little time to spare in beauty routines. That’s not bad when in your twenties. But in your thirties, those signs of neglect start showing up. I may be lazy, but I hate wrinkles as any other woman!
Now, all the beauty routines seemed too complicated for me to do them flawlessly every morning and in a rush. So, I did what all procrastinators do best, I found a handful of perfectly valid excuses to not do it. Anything from I don’t have that many wrinkles yet to the cosmetic industry doesn’t really know what they’re doing. I think this delusion probably lasted for a couple of months and then I took a hard look at my face in the mirror. I didn’t like what I saw one bit.
When I entered my block’s health store my mission was simple: to find the most affordable and less complicated beauty morning routine I could find and stick to it. Well, cleaning my face every morning with soap? That I could do. And if I really wanted to take a step outside my comfort zone, I could also try the beauty cream. But I’ll be honest with you, I’ve stuck to the soap only for three months now and my skin is softer than ever. Those first wrinkles? I practically can’t see them anymore. And I’m still not a morning person!
