No matter how careful you are, when you work in public spaces and have sensitive skin you’re prone to developing some serious conditions. It’s not that the public swimming pool where I work as a lifeguard is unsanitary, on the contrary. They follow health safety rules strictly. The more time I spent in the pool, though, the more my skin would react badly at the end of the day. After being tested for fungus and allergies, my doctor reached the conclusion my skin was too sensitive to that environment and would overreact. Leaving my job, that I love doing, wasn’t an option.
I found an online forum and reached out for help on what products should I use to help me cope with this problem. Most of them mentioned creams and lotions, which would be totally useless because I spent a lot of time in the water. I also didn’t have time to apply cream every two or three hours. For days, I scrolled through what seemed like an infinite number of answers and I thought I would never find a product that worked. Then I read one that said, “whatever product you decide to use, your best friend in this situation will always be the sea buckthorn oil”. That was intriguing but how could I use this oil effectively in a water environment?
When I found that one of FaceDoctor Rejuvenating Soap’s active ingredients was the sea buckthorn oil, I thought this was too good to be true. Would it work? Would the amount of oil be enough for the soap to be truly effective? Would I need an additional product to help keep my complexion soft and healthy? I think it took less than two weeks to get all these questions answered. It works! The soap truly works and I don’t need to worry about extra lotions or creams.
