Maintaining cleanliness and proper hygiene is the very basic step to reduction, control and prevention of acne. There are many medicines and ointments readily available in the market nowadays for controlling and preventing acne. The treatment of acne comes under various branches of medicine such as natural herbal treatments, ayurvedic, surgical procedure etc. Apart from these a proper diet is also good in treating acne.<\/p>\n

AYURVEDIC MAGIC<\/strong> <\/strong><\/p>\n

According to Ayurveda, acne are the papules resembling the sprout on the bark of ‘Shalmali<\/em> ‘ tree, appears on the face in adolescents. Increased ‘kapha<\/em> and vata dosha’<\/em> and ‘rakta<\/em> and meda dhatu<\/em> ‘ are involved in causing this disease.<\/p>\n

According to ayurved most important contributory factors in this condition is diet. Improper dietary habits may lead to acne or yavanapidika<\/p>\n

Make the paste of lodhra, dhanyaka and vacha with water and then apply it on your face.<\/p>\n

Make the paste of ashwagandha, chandana, manjishta and yashtimadhu with water and then apply it on your face.<\/p>\n

Make the paste of haridra and chandana and apply it on your face.<\/p>\n

Leave all the above-mentioned local applications on the face for about twenty minutes (till it dries) and then wash your face with luke-warm water.<\/p>\n

Applying jamun seeds rubbed with water on the pimples will reduce the growth of pimples.<\/p>\n

Washing the face with butter milk atleast twice a day will combat pimples.<\/p>\n

Extract milk from beneath the sharp thorns of the cotton tree. Apply this milk on the pimples and leave it to dry.Do this \u00a0 continuously for upto three days and you can see your pimples vanishing.<\/p>\n

Take powders of roasted mustard seeds, orange peels and chiraunji<\/em> in equal proportions. Gind them to very fine powder and apply the mixture to face.<\/p>\n

Prepare a mixture of lemon juice and rose water in equal quantities. Apply this mixture on the affected areas and wash off with fresh water after half an hour. About 15 days application helps cure acne, pimples and scars.<\/p>\n

Application of cucumber juice mixed with juices of carrot or lettuce is an excellent home remedy for pimples.<\/p>\n

A paste of fresh fenugreek leaves, applied and washed off with warm water before going to bed is good for removing scars of old pimples.<\/p>\n

Over-washing your face will dry it out and remove natural oils, which will put your face into over-oil production mode. Stick to washing your face twice-daily, once in the morning and once at night.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
